How do I fight the Army to save my sons life?

MDMA (Ecstasy) is possibly the most effective drug for CURING PTSD rather than just numbing the person out. Does your son have a girlfriend or close friend? Get them both to take MDMA (~100mg) and sit down and really talk about what's bothering your son. Wait a week, then do it again. If there aren't any people in his life you think he'd be comfortable doing this with, bring him to a therapist and discuss the idea with them. Yes, MDMA is illegal, so many therapists may not want to go along with this plan, but there are ones out there who appreciate just how much of a life saver MDMA can be for people who no longer think they have anything to live for. Psychiatrists say that one session with a patient on MDMA does more than 6 weeks of regular therapy. This drug has saved lives, you owe it to your son to give him a real shot at getting better.

By your username, I'd expect you know how.
I hate to say it but he signed the contract.... However once he gets transferred he may be found medically unfit for duty and be medically discharged. An a soldier as well I know how much trouble this can be but try to get in contact with his CO, let him know the situation, at very least they can put him on suicide watch... Good luck.
yuck, that's america for you. problem? have a pill, oh? side-effects? MOAR PILLS!
LITHIUM IS THE FUCKING DEVIL. made me way worse when I was on it. talk to his scriptor and see if there's alternatives. Is he taking everything? And are you sure he is? Some of those have a kinda weaning off period and if you skip a dose or two things get bleak. The kpins are hardcore and seroquel + trazadone is a little much. Nonbenzo sleeping pills (third gen, lunesta and ambien) are just so unbelievably much better.
Ask them about prazosin and gabapentin. They are a god send for me.
Thank you for all the input. I cannot take him anywhere. He in inpatient treatment. If he were out He could do so much more with some guidance as to where to start. Although the thought of busting him out has crossed my mind. I did receive a response to an email to the the congressman. They can do a welfare check for me, but they can look into it if my son can calls them. Your messages and replies and truly given me some hope that I can advocate for him. Politics don't matter. I'm not a helicopter mom. He's 25 with beautiful children. I don't want him to be yet another sad static.
MilitaryOneSource.com. Great tool for anyone that needs assistance with military matters. Get on their site, they also have an easily-remembered phone number (sorry, can't remember, it's on the site).
send your son to a third world country, i dunno why, this seems to work on most ptsd sufferers. they usually go on a self-discovery through outreach programs, nature tripping, drugs, hiring prostitutes, etc. it's weird but i know a lot of former soldiers who are now expats do this, they say it helps them deal with their troubled pasts.
A bigger army.
