What if coronavirus is actually Earths equivalent to antibodies & it's just trying to defend the health of its host from the real virus.....Mankind?

That's kinda how viruses work, although admittedly embellished. We get a pandemic every ~100 years and that certainly is part of the natural flow of things. On one hand we should count ourselves lucky. We've been waiting for the next pandemic for a while and the one we got has an alarming yet not debilitating death rate. On the other it's real concerning, because it has long lasting effects even if you recover. So long term deaths are probably gonna be far higher than the initial ones. And we don't even have a vaccine yet, and don't even know if one is possible yet. It's not the end of the world but it sure is scary. Back to the original point though: this isn't a planet antibody thing. It's just normal for how things have gone over time and humans are paying attention cause we're very much affected at the moment.

Well, the environment has probably had some positives because there have been less people driving etc.

If so, let's hope the earth doesn't figure out if it changes the atmosphere we all die... except Elon musk and them rich people that probably already have an artificial habitat since they got to trash
