What song would you want to hear while touring the Na Pali Coast?
If you're heading out to the Na Pali Coast, you honestly can't beat some classic Fleetwood Mac. Put on "Dreams" or maybe "Rhiannon" while you're cruising past those massive green cliffs. There’s something about the way that music hits when you’re out on the water, with the wind in your face and those jagged peaks towering over you. It just feels right, like it was made for that kind of scenery.
If you want something a bit more mellow to just soak in the view, I’d suggest throwing on some Jack Johnson. It’s pretty much the go-to vibe for Hawaii. It’s laid back and doesn't distract from the actual experience of being out there. I remember being out on a boat tour a few years back, and having that kind of easy-going acoustic stuff playing in the background made the whole trip feel a lot more memorable.
Stay away from anything too heavy or fast-paced, though. The coast is all about that raw, natural energy, so you want a soundtrack that matches the pace of the ocean swells. Whatever you pick, just make sure you put your phone away for a bit and actually look at the cliffs. It's easy to get caught up in the playlist, but that place is something else entirely once you really start paying attention to the details.
