Anyone know a site that has a bunch of comedy specials available for purchase/download?

Honestly, most of the platforms these days are pushing the subscription model so hard that finding places to just buy and download specials is getting a bit tricky. I usually stick to the major digital storefronts that let you own the digital files, because I really hate the idea of losing access to a comedy set just because a streaming service decides to pull it from their library.

You might want to check out the big video marketplaces where you can purchase individual specials. I've grabbed quite a few of my favorites that way over the last few years. It's pretty straightforward, and you get to keep them in your digital locker without worrying about monthly fees or internet connection issues when you're traveling.

Some of the independent comedian websites are also worth a look if you're trying to support the artists directly. A lot of them have shifted to selling their specials through their own portals, which is great because you usually get a DRM-free file that you can toss onto your own hard drive. It feels way better knowing the money is going straight to the comic rather than a massive corporate middleman.
