I'll preface this by saying I no longer teach. But something I learnt from being a student myself and then being a teacher is that no one system can work for everybody. There are always going to be some students (like my brother was) for whom school is really challenging. And I'm sure there are many students for whom remote learning has been very difficult too. Things are getting better in terms of pastoral support, differentiation and recognition of different skill sets, but I don't think the education system will ever suit everyone.

I agree. As a history teacher I know that schools were organised in a way to create good factory workers which is nit what we need today. Kids need how to manage emotions and other skills more than like (shooting myself in the foot here) history we have google now.
I get up at 7am, go to school at 8:30 finish at 3, with 45 minutes of break total. Then there's homework plus any extra work and the website quizzes I have to do.
If someone feels that receiving education is bad for their mental health, maybe they should not get an education.
I feel like not having an education and not doing anything all day is bad for your mental health. I have adjusted assignments to match new needs, but things need to be completed and learned b
In general, or during the pandemic? Because having to enter a crowded building right now sure as hell would be bad for my mental health.
