I was unable to orgasm on the SSRI but my Dr. Suggested taking it AND Wellbutrin and I haven't had any issues since. And I still get the benefit from citalopram (which does in fact work amazingly)

At the end of the day its your fucking life and so if you want to take the meds then I'm backing you. As for medicine related ED, your jackass gf has to realize that this is something that you genuinely have to do so that you get better..this isn't about her its about YOU.

Why can't you see a psychiatrist? Not all antideppresents have sexual side effects.

Honey, there's no shame needing meds to help with a chemical imbalance. I'm also quite concerned with the relationship you're in particularly with She thinks that Im not me when Im on the meds, Don't kick your meds to make someone else happy. It's not fair to you. You have just as much a right to be happy even if it requires medication. Would you stop taking insulin for diabetes if she didn't like the side effects?

explain to her how amazing you think she is and how it just affects your sex drive if a pill is helping you, try everything in your power to continue getting help if the cons outweigh the pros with that pill, maybe see if there is a similar one that won't have such a negative effect would it be possible to take a form of viagra to combat the issues you are having as a side effect to the anti-depressant so that you can take it and still enjoy your life fully?
