The thing that really hits me is the patience we used to have. Think about waiting for a phone call at home or standing in line at a bank without everyone staring at their screens every single second. Everything was slower, and honestly, it felt more real. People actually looked at each other in the street instead of walking around like zombies with their heads down.

Also, the neighborhood vibe is pretty much gone. I remember when we used to leave our keys in the door or just knock on a friend's house without calling or texting first to see if they were "available." Kids used to play outside until the streetlights came on, and you knew every single neighbor on your block. Now, everyone is locked up behind smart locks and security cameras, barely knowing who lives right next door.

Maps, physical ones at least, are another thing I miss. You had to actually figure out where you were going before you left the house, not just blindly follow a blue line on a screen that tells you exactly when to turn. It made you pay attention to the world around you, rather than just zoning out until you arrived at your destination.
