From what I understand blackheads are pretty much dirt and other gunk collecting into your pores. Pulling them out with strips only temporarily alleviates the problem as your pores will be clean but left open to collect more stuff. So, I believe you must use an astringent regularly which tightens up your pores. I had a ritual for a while which was to use strips to pull them out, then an astringent to close up the pores. I did this for a short time and I noticed an improvement but eventually fell out of the ritual and so they're back. I find that as long as I wash my face with something abrasive, they are never too out of control.

white glue works ok too. You know that school glue that some out white and dries clear? Try that.

Grease lightning from Lush. Best shit ever. If I neglect my face, I still get a pimple here or there, but ever since I started using Grease Lightning, I haven't gotten a blackhead. Also volcanic ash face mask. I get that you're a dude, but trust me, it works on your pores like a champ.

One of my friends puts krazy glue on her nose, lets it dry, then peels it off. Blackheads come too. I have yet to try with my gigantic pores.

Mix equal parts unflavored gelatin and milk. Microwave and mix until a nice paste. Brush on affected areas. When it dries, pull off the layer. It works like strips and is much less expensive.

I'm a 21 year old male with the same problem. They sell strips that you wet and put onto your face and then pull off to remove the blackheads. I do this about once a week and dont have any problems anymore. Very easy and you can purchase them at any drugstore.

Steam open your pores by heating up a pot of water, and then (after you take it off the stove) lean over it for 5-10 minutes. Then use a mask, like aztec secrets healing clay mask. This comes in a powder so you have to mix it yourself. but if you mix it with apple cider vinegar it's really effective. after you wash the clay off, finish with a toner or splash some cold water on your face--this closes the pores.

Instead of any arse-hat useless ass hair brush use an elecrtic toothbrush as a) it's easier and b) obviously far more effective. After brushing my teeth I rinse and use a baking powder paste from time to time. Haven't had anything worth squeezing in years! :o)
