If your s/o would earn their money as a prostitute, would you call it cheating and if yes/no why?

I feel like the old definition of cheating, as in having sex with someone outside of the relationship, is not as relevant as what I've heard as a more modern definition: a violation of sexual or romantic boundaries. The newer definition is a bit less judgemental of open relationships and a bit clearer on the severity of breaking other aspects of sexual or romantic boundaries. To answer the question, if my partner discussed it with me first, I wouldn't consider it cheating and I'd be fine provided they were steering well clear of romantic entanglements.

I dated a woman who gave handies in a massage parlor. I never had an issue with this as I knew this is what she did for a living. She made crazy money as well so who am I to tell her to stop. She was a great cook, too.
Well, first of all if my SO was a sex worker I would expect to be informed of that and have made an informed choice, so no. Not cheating. Secondly, as abhorrent as I find cheating (and I really do), I would be much more hurt by my husband having an emotional affair than a purely physical one. So if it's a transactional thing like sex work is - still no.
"Pornstars do the same thing expect they work with "professionals" so as long as both parties are aware and okay with it I wouldn't consider it cheating. Also I'd almost never be cool with this setup. "
It's not cheating if you speak it through, it's ok for both parties and nothing is being kept a secret
Depends. Like any open relationship, if both parties are aware and consenting, I wouldn't say it's cheating. If one person doesn't know about their partner having sex with other people it is. The cheating part for me comes down to whether the other person agrees with it or not.
Kinda retarded to ask, you wont be together with someone in the sexbusiness if you would care about monogamie. Obviously she wouldnt cheat, you would be an idiot to think that way. Same idioticity like coming together with someone who cheated on their boyfriend with you and then being suprised if they do the same with you
If I knew about it beforehand then no. Personally I wouldn't date an S/O who works in that field
Won't be dating her if she is a professional
"Its honestly down to the individuals. In my prior relationship my partner had health issues killed his sex drive. I went on the pill and aome other meds that sent mine through the roof. We agreed I would do a "side" gig. It honestly added 6 months to a year to our relationship "
