ORS WITH NECK/HAND TATTOOS: What do you do for a living?

I'm an administrator working for Nationa Defence. They're basically a lot less uptight here than they were when I worked for minimum wage in a shitty grocery store. I'm in corporate services in the Executive realm. Our conditions of employment are actually bound to a collective agreement so save for safety related dress/appearance issues (steel toed boots, no dangling jewelry in machinery zones etc.) my employer has no authority over how I choose to present myself at work. I could wear slippers and sweat pants if I wanted. I dress conservatively (office lady polyester standards) but make no effort to hide my tattoos. No one cares that I can tell, I've progressed quickly in my career and no one has ever really made any comment. Perhaps a perk of working for the Navy, a lot of sailors have a fair amount of ink.

That sucks for the applicant, but I'm sure he knew that would happen more often then not. I don't have hand and neck tattoos but I have a full sleeve. I typically wear suits and if they don't ask I don't mention it, can't pull that off with a neck piece

I think that there are certain jobs that are harder to get but for the most part It's up to the person doing the hiring.

I have my hands covered and a couple stars on my neck. I work at a nightclub. Tried the corporate thing, hated it. I work 4 nights a week and have my days free. I don't have to worry about getting more or wearing a suit. My life does not suck.

I have neck, hand a face tattoo. I train dogs, and am the biggest pussy in the world :D

I have the Black Flag logo tattooed on the back of my neck and a full sleeve. I'm a vocalist and guitarist for a deathcore band.

Not me (of course) but one of my closest friends is 85% tattooed (including her neck and hands). She's in upper management at a University.
