What is obviously true but many deny it?

People love to pretend that they’re in total control of their lives, but honestly, most of what happens to us is just pure luck or timing. You can work yourself to the bone, plan every single detail for years, and then one random event—like a market shift or some freak accident—just wipes the slate clean. Everyone wants to believe in the whole "you reap what you sow" thing because it's comforting, but man, I've seen enough hardworking folks get the short end of the stick to know that life isn't always fair or logical.

Another thing people refuse to admit is that nobody actually knows what they're doing. We're all just winging it, pretending to be experts so we don't look like fools. Whether it's the guys in fancy suits making big business decisions or parents trying to raise kids, everyone is just guessing based on what they picked up along the way. It’s funny how everyone acts so confident, but deep down, most people are just hoping they don't get caught making it up as they go.
