What's a secret you won't share with anyone in person, but you are willing to share anonymously?

I guess everyone has that one thing they keep locked away just so they don't have to deal with the inevitable judging looks. For me, it's the fact that I actually regret taking over the family business. Everyone around here thinks I love the work and that I'm living the dream by running the place, but honestly, there are days I just want to pack a bag and disappear to somewhere where nobody knows my name or expects me to fix their broken pipes or leaky roofs.

It’s weird saying it out loud, even if it's just typing it out. I've spent over a decade building a reputation for being the guy who can handle anything, and people really lean on that. I feel like if I ever admitted I was burnt out or that I wanted a completely different life, I'd be letting down my old man and the whole community. So, I just keep showing up, smiling, and doing the job like I’ve got everything figured out.
