How is DT still in office after the entire nation being aware of his bullshit and what a terrible president he's made? Why haven't we as a nation done something about it?

I'm not american or educated on how the world and politics works, but in my opinion the reason is that too many people are waiting for someone else to do what needs to be done while doing nothing about it themselves, and the rest are either happy for the way things are for them specifically or just too afraid to do anythin in fear of losing the little safety they do have, but then again It's just how I see things from a foreigner's perspective, sorry if my English is a little wierd.
