To older , what did the generation above you hate about your generation?

Honestly, it's always the same old story. People older than me seem to have this obsession with how much time we spend glued to our screens. They love to act like we invented laziness just because we handle everything through apps now. Whenever I'm out with some older folks, they make these snide comments about how my generation has no "real world" skills or that we're basically incapable of doing anything without a tutorial video or a search engine.

They also get really hung up on how we communicate. I've had guys older than me tell me that we've lost the art of conversation because we prefer texting or messaging over picking up the phone. It's like they think if you aren't doing things exactly the way they did in the 90s or early 2000s, you're doing it wrong. They act like our preference for efficiency is somehow a moral failing.

It's pretty ironic though, because I see them scrolling through social media just as much as anyone else. Most of the hate just feels like they're frustrated that the world changed so fast and we're just the ones who grew up with the tools they struggle with. I usually just shrug it off; it's not worth getting into an argument over how they think we're "soft" just because we prioritize our mental health or work-life balance a bit more than they did.
