"Men not showing emotion and touching being almost entirely forbidden except in a relationship or among family. On the first, we have feelings too, and some of us (like me rip) have developed serious mental conditions because of bottling everything inside of us. On the second, people just need hugs, need contact. The way humans evolved is very social, both verbally and physically. I remember my psychology professor talking about "touch starvation", and how it's a really prevalent thing that's not good for our minds. Personally, I've had a lot of times where I just want a hug to make things better. But who would I go to get one from? "
