What's the best online tutoring platform for tech-related topics?
To be honest, I've spent a lot of time tinkering with things and trying to learn new tech skills on the side, and I've found that Udemy is usually the go-to if you want to get your hands dirty without spending a fortune. The courses are pretty straightforward, and you can just pick up whatever specific skill you need, like coding or software basics, whenever you have a free hour. It’s worked out well for me because I can just pause and pick it back up when my schedule clears up.
If you're looking for something a bit more structured, Coursera is probably better. It feels a bit more like a real classroom setting but you can still do it at your own pace. I tried a few tech courses there a while back and the quality of the instructors is solid. It’s definitely not as casual as the others, but if you really want to wrap your head around a difficult concept, it’s worth the extra effort.
At the end of the day, it really depends on your learning style. If you just want to get the job done, look for those project-based platforms where you build something as you go. That way, you aren't just reading theory, you're actually seeing how things fit together. Just find one that lets you preview the content first so you don't waste your cash on something that bores you to tears.
