How many lumens would Rudolph's nose had to have been to give Santa good visibility?
REKLAM
Cevaplar
The fact that Rudolph's nose wasn't focused with a concave reflector of any sort negates the usefulness for navigational purposes. It would be shining in Santa's eyes almost as often as it was lighting the way. The greater the lumens, the greater the hindrance.

Also remember that red light doesn't stimulate rods and cones as well as green light (the color that the human perception of white light is centered on).
I think it is safe to assume that Santa put a reflecting bowl/cone/thing on Rudolph's nose so that the light would be directional. If not he is a moron.
Well first off, you need to get at least 1.21 jigawatts of power to power a reindeer's nose.
