When thinking about it, what simple things blow your minds?

How fast the internet and technology really is... I'm probably missing some steps, but think about this: I want to play an FPS multiplayer game... I input through a connection of both a mouse and keyboard (or controller) gets calculated on my machine. goes from my machine to my router. Router, out the wire of my house. somehow, that travels to a server hundreds of miles away. server computes all the information sent to it. it then sends all that information to the 9-63 other people I'm playing with. it somehow gets to them, and travels through a wire... Through their router... And then their computer translates it... And shows it on their screen. And this entire process happens 30-100 times a second, and we are all somehow playing against each other with like 5-50 millisecond response time. It just blows my mind.

It blows my mind that space is infinite. There's no end, its not like you reach a stopping point and nothing is on the other side of that. Nope just keep going, a little bit further. Same goes for those that believe in eternal life, like are you sure thats Heaven? That sounds like absolute hell.

How did the first humans on earth discover that you had reproduce. What was going through their heads at the time. What was their reaction when they eventually reproduced. It's insane, because that single act is the reason I now have to pay taxes and learn calculus.

Walking on two legs. By swinging them you change your center of mass and you are also falling at the same time, right before you're at the point of no return you put your leg in front to be stable again

The internet. It's not simple per say but it's so easy to use. I can access all this information and all those people all over the world just like that... it's absolutely insane.
