~Someone has stolen my artwork. What should I do about it?~

"I hate saying this. But if it's online, and someone wants it, it's gettin jacked. unless, yeah, you watermark the sh*t out of it. I've seen marked images that could easily be photoshopped to look normal. Or, you could only put lo res proofs up. with images I think the most justice you'll get from someone copying your work for a flyer (or something similar) is credit (which isn't terrible because people who didn't know you existed 5min ago now do, free promo, and that's a good chunk of what your trying to accomplish on the internet as an artist in any medium. If your work is stolen for more serious work however, have proof that you own it and take legal action. This kid needed images of a certain subject matter and somehow landed on your page "sweet! just what i was looking for." yoink We've all done it. Not saying I condone this behavior, it just is what it is. "
