Parents, how would you react if you found out your teenage son or daughter were smoking weed?

Ok I'm not a parent but Id like to give my opinion and reasoning. Personally I wouldn't freak out but there would be some punishment involved. Whether I agree or not, weed is illegal where I live and I would never condone breaking the law. I also believe that whether it was illegal or not- teens shouldn't be using it. Hell, I don't think that anyone should. I'm not gonna explain all of my reasoning now (too much effort) but if anyones wants to know then feel free to ask. LET THE DOWNVOTES COMMENCE!

My parents used to confiscate my weed when they found it. I found out years later that the fuckers used to smoke it themselves.

My mum freaked out when she found out I smoked weed.... I preferred my dads reaction (and it's the one I think I'd like to have) which was to let me smoke at his on the grounds that I only smoke at weekends and I wouldn't do harder drugs.
