What were some of the worst trends of the 2010s?

Man, the 2010s were a weird time for fashion and culture. Honestly, the whole "harlem shake" thing was fun for about five minutes before it became absolutely unbearable. Every single person in my workplace was trying to do it at one point, and it just got annoying real fast. Then you had those ridiculous "man buns" that every guy seemed to think was the pinnacle of style. I remember seeing guys trying to force their hair into tiny knots even when it wasn't long enough, which just looked painful and frankly, pretty silly.

And don't even get me started on the whole "planking" craze. People were doing it on literally everything—roofs, construction sites, moving vehicles. As someone who works with their hands all day, I just looked at those photos and thought about all the safety hazards. It was a miracle half those people didn't end up in the emergency room. Looking back, it’s funny how much energy we wasted on trends that didn't really mean anything at all.
