  1. “I would assume that as long as the candidate doesn’t come across as thinking they are running the interview, then there should be no issue. Especially for a high level IT job “allow me a moment to consult my notes” shows a willingness to consult documentation when addressing an issue (a trait a lot of people lose as they progress in IT because they start to think they know it all) “

  2. Seems reasonable. Often the interviewer has prepared questions, why not the candidate. Interviews can be nerve wracking. It is likely you will forget something you wanted to ask.

  3. As long as they’re good questions it can show a truer understanding. Good questions have tipped the scales for me hiring in the past
