My Grandma (who past away) used to make a black forest cake and I would like to make but it’s in German. Could someone please help translate the recipe to english.

   Just posting to add another voice to confirm this is an awesome cake, I’m sure many would agree that it’s the best cake ever invented. It’s a classic and has been around for centuries, so obviously there’s no need at all to use the Dr. Oetker branded stuff, but the kirschwasser is absolutely necessary and can’t be substituted with anything else (you could put a bit more into it that the recipe demands, though, and probably should). Make. this. cake.
