"Sometimes people try to do something that's funny and it's not funny.  It doesn't need to be SCARY, just because you don't understand it. It may well not even be intentional. I don't think you're in danger, though. One time, a friend of mine got up WAY early in the morning. He bought a chicken from the grocery store, brought it into the office, and propped it up on one of our producer's desks with a handful of iron nails and the word "REPENT". He then went home and came back in when it was about time for work to start.  It wasn't funny, and I'm not ENTIRELY sure it was intended to be. It was just the kind of thing that kid DID.  "

Weird. Do you happen to live in Pennsylvania? A friend of mine had a very similar experience about a month ago. He'd just gotten home from work, forgot to bring his suitcase in and found a pile of stuffed animals next to the driver side door. The next week someone tried breaking into his house but a neighbor saw him and called the police. He left before they arrived. The neighbor noticed he was had a stuffed animal attached to a rope he was dragging. Perhaps this is a warning? Dunno.

"In all likelihood, something happened that was just a wild coincidence. Like someone else posted, maybe someone was moving and it dropped out of a box containing their kid's stuff. If someone was leaving it to you as a present, they did a pretty piss poor job because you have no idea who it was - no note, even signed from "a secret admirer." If someone was going to leave it deliberately, they'd at least want you to know it was left deliberately. "

I used to have a stuffed bunny just like that one on the left! It was a present from the Easter Bunny, he left it in my sandbox on Easter morning. Haven't seen it for a while..
