Teacher, why teachers suggest parents to have their kids checked for ADD or ADHD? Do you have degree in medicine?

   You don’t need to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. If you’re an experienced teacher, you’ve spent years observing children and their behaviors, and you can tell which kids are a little rambunctious, and who’s so far outside the norm that maybe it’s worth a visit to a professional. If you’re just hearing this from one teacher, take it with a grain of salt, but if you go to a parent teacher night and meet with a variety of your child’s teachers, and they all seem to notice the same behaviors and think some outside help may be in order, it might be worth taking them seriously. Also, make sure to look at the environmental factors as well. If the home life isn’t stable and loving, and TV / internet / fast food are the defaults instead of time outside and home cooked meals, then maybe some adjustments are in order there also.

   “Conspiracies are awesome. I spent 32 years struggling to remember basically anything. A while back my wife asked me to put the pillows on the bed, one was blue and the other was white. “Which one is mine?” I said “youve been sleeping on it for years honey!” She said. For the life of me I couldnt remember which one was mine. I couldnt even guarantee if they were our pillows or not, no memory of ever seeing them before. Why? Because I have a deficit in my attention. A few months of medication and Im teaching myself a programming language and reminding my wife to take the Redbox back to the store. “
