Henrike Soru sordu 10 ay önce Diğer What is the USA minimum wage? Is it really 7.25? +9 cevapları gör Bildir
$2.13 per hour is the lowest minimum wage for tipped workers like waitstaff, and many states don’t raise it above that lowest legal threshold. Here’s a breakdown: https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/state/minimum-wage/tipped
Some states also allow restaurants to pay waitstaff even less–around 3 dollars an hour. Supposedly they are to make the rest in tips.
That’s the national minimum wage (basically the lowest any state can go), some states have raised theirs but others are still at $7.25
It depends on the state but 7.25 is the lowest it goes I think
The federally mandated minimum wage is $7.25 but many states have it higher. Massachusetts has a min wage of $12 which is being increased to $15. NYC is $15.
Holy shit, 7.25? That’s insane.
Australia has the highest minimum wage at $19.84
Here in Texas its $8.25 and thats like $1,200 a month if your getting 35~40 hours a week. How anyone survives on it, is amazing.
Other state minimums can raise it but most states have it at 7.25
