"Gun culture.  Magic the gathering  I Exclusively play with friends, local FNM has people testing out decks they payed over $200 for in preparation for some pro-tour of some kind. Indie gaming: I don't like cave story, so I suck apparently. Table Top RPG: Yes, I like DnD. Yes I prefer 4.0. Yes, when I play World of Darkness I prefer the new rule system. No, I don't mind 3.5, I like Pathfinder, but the "Edition war" is bullshit. I'm not a fan of essentials, I'm not going to get pissed about it existing though. Once had person get legitimately upset with me because 2.0 was that last "real DnD" General Gaming: No, I don't think "The cake is a lie" is a particularly funny or timely joke in 2012, see above for overlaps with Table Top Gaming culture. "

Wine. (In the US) Because you can't enjoy cheap wine. In France you can get excellent wine for a few euros. I acquired my taste for it there. I came back here and thought to enjoy it more. Nope. You are apparently not allowed to enjoy it unless it costs $20 a bottle. (At a store, I don't want to know what a restaurant price would be) Also, as a man you can't drink wine until you hit 30. Really?!

I love hot sauce but hate hot sauce culture. Creative small-batch hot sauces often have names like Rectal Incinerator and Anal Assault. I don't want to think about shitting while I'm eating.  I feel exactly the same about craft brewing. I love beer. Absolutely love it. I especially love quality craft brews. But I'm so tired of seeing names that are just puns or euphemisms for pot and/or boobs.
