"I think the movie is "Shutter (2008)". It's some ghost horror flick (Hollywood made  original story from Japan or Korea).  The guy is haunted by a (now dead) girl he has wronged in the past. She shows up in pictures he takes. Towards the end of the movie things intensify and he feels something isn't right. He takes a polaroid-picture of himself and the big scary reveal is that the girl is sitting on his shoulders.  I was the only one in the theater who laughed out loud at that. But it was genuinely funny to me after the fairly predictable "scary" movie cliches they'd used up until then. Oh nooooo! It's a girl!! And she's sitting ON HIS SHOULDERS!!! How horrible! "

I saw The Avengers in theaters. My friend and I laughed at the part when Captain America gave Nick Fury the $10 bill, and nobody else laughed. We both laughed not because of the bet Nick made, but because Captain America was from the 40's when black people never had high ranking positions, but were common to hold jobs like bellhops and the way he handed it to him seemed like that. So, we laughed for the wrong reason and didn't realize it until later on.
