American conservative , historically conservatives have been in favor of a limited federal government. How do you feel when Trump executed the order today investigating local schools for their curriculum and dictating what curriculum they can teach?

   I do want to point out that conservative <> Republican any more. The Republican Party has lost most of its conservative coalition since 2016. And conservative <> Trump supporter. This president is one of the most un-conservative presidents in recent history. As a conservative I am repulsed by the President’s continued efforts to expand the already over-reaching power of the executive.

   Conservatives are only for limiting government when liberals are in charge of government.

   For me, I’ve never viewed Trump as a conservative. It’s not a surprise to me at all.

   Since its toward this new curriculum which demonized the USA, then he did the right thing. I see it as protecting the limited government from those who wish to expand it.
